Rick Williams was ordained in the Anglican Church in 1980 and has followed a church planting and teaching call through the Vineyard since 1987. He was one of the founding Vineyard leaders in the UK, planting Riverside Vineyard Church on the west side of London in 1988. This is a culturally diverse church, which has trained many leaders and planted multiple new churches. He is known as a bible teacher and is also missionally engaged training church leaders, particularly in Africa. He transitioned from senior leadership of RVC in 2011, and continues to teach and coach next generation leaders. His book, Uncomfortable Growth, grapples with the cultural and theological realities surrounding genuine discipleship. He is married to Lulu and they have 2 adult children.
