Lorie Kaufman Rees has been the Pastor of Support and Recovery Ministries at Vineyard Columbus. She is also a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, Supervisory Status, in the state of Ohio. She was educated at Anderson University in Anderson, Indiana, where she received a BA (cum laude) in Family Studies. She then did her graduate training at Bowling Green State University, in Bowling Green, Ohio, where she received a Master of Arts in Counseling and a Master of Family and Consumer Sciences in Marriage and Family Therapy (summa cum laude).
Lorie is in the second stage of her career, having first worked for 15 years as a professional counselor in two different Christian private practices. In 2013, she accepted the role of Pastor over the Support and Recovery ministries at Vineyard Columbus, where she oversees and trained nearly 100 lay counselors, support group leaders, and recovery group leaders. An avid writer and speaker, she has additionally spoken at numerous conferences and workshops. Lorie has written numerous unpublished manuscripts for educational and training purposes.
