Simon Ponsonby is an international author, speaker and theologian based at St. Aldate’s Oxford. He is Dean of Studies at the Oxford Centre for Church Growth and an Associate Tutor at Wycliffe Hall.
He became an evangelist, street preacher and church planter at the age of 21, before studying for ordination. He then served a curacy on an inner-city council estate before running a vibrant chaplaincy in Oxford for seven years. In 2005 he took up a post as Pastor of Theology at St. Aldate’s Oxford and embarked on a wider itinerant teaching ministry. Simon has published a book on the Spirit-filled life, “More“, and a more substantial theology of the Spirit, “God Inside Out“. Other publications include “And The Lamb Wins“, a study of the end times,”Loving Mercy“, which focuses on our responsibilities towards the poor, and “God Is For Us“, a series of 52 studies in Romans.
