Brittany Kim is an adjunct professor at Northeastern Seminary in Rochester, New York, and Ecclesia College in Springdale, Arkansas. She grew up in a Vineyard Church near Seattle, Washington, where she met her husband, who is currently the Worship Pastor at the Vineyard Church in Syracuse, New York. After completing a BA in Religious Studies and Philosophy at Westmont College in Santa Barbara, California, Brittany went on to earn an MA in Biblical Exegesis and a PhD in Biblical Theology—Old Testament, both from Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois.
She has published essays on prophetic literature and biblical metaphor, and she focuses primarily on literary and biblical-theological approaches to the text. Her greatest passion is to help others overcome the historical and cultural distance between ancient Israel and the modern world so that they can find their place in God’s great drama.
